Company Statement of Airtech International, Inc.

The CBS news story that recently aired about our company was irresponsible and outrageous. It contained accusations that are wildly false, accusations which a government agency itself, after thorough investigation, determined to be false. The story also reflects a complete lack of awareness of our industry. The implication that Airtech distributes a product that is part of an aircraft and may cause a safety risk is totally false. No aircraft in the air today, or ever, flies or has flown with an Airtech product as part of the aircraft. That is simply not Airtech's business.

Never once since our founding 35 years ago have we been made aware of a single flight safety issue resulting from our products. We assure the public, our military, and our customers that we do not and have never knowingly provided defective material.

The news story rehashes years-old accusations that the Federal Aviation Administration investigated thoroughly. The FAA is the government agency dedicated to improving the safety and efficiency of aviation. We cooperated fully with the investigation. The FAA determined that the accusations of providing defective or improperly substituted products -- the very core of the CBS report -- were false. We quote from the FAA's letter to us about its investigation:

"On October 20, 2006, you were advised that the Federal Aviation Administration was investigating an allegation that your company was producing and selling unapproved parts. This letter is to inform you that our investigation has not established a violation of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations and you may consider this matter closed."

Because the accusations are totally false, we invite anyone who wishes greater detail to read the FAA's letter to us. We have attached a copy of the letter in its entirety. The letter, which we received almost 2 years ago, puts to rest these false accusations.
